Get to Know Us
Up-Grow Life Skill Learning Centre LLP is a training and development organization focused on building practical life skills, professional competence, and emotional resilience in individuals working in people-centric fields.
We work primarily with social work students, psychology trainees, early-career professionals, and community workers who want more than theoretical knowledge. Our approach is grounded, structured, and application-oriented — because real work demands real skills.
At Up-Grow, training is not treated as a one-time event. Our sessions are designed and delivered by experienced practitioners from the fields of social work, mental health, life skills education, and training.
We also provide counselling and psychosocial support services, with a strong emphasis on ethical practice, boundaries, and timely referral to professional help when required.

R – RESCUE The first step is identifying the problem and those affected by it. We utilize Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Social Mapping, empowering local communities to visually identify and document "drug hotspots." This grassroots intelligence is crucial for two reasons: it helps the Narcotic Cell and Excise department coordinate targeted enforcement to disrupt supply, and vitally, it allows us to identify and "rescue" individuals currently suffering in these high-risk environments.
O – OPPORTUNITY Rescue is meaningless without a pathway forward. Once individuals suffering from abuse are identified, Project ROOT provides them with immediate OPPORTUNITY. We act as the bridge, connecting them to resources they often cannot access on their own: professional rehabilitation centers, safe detoxification facilities, and initial medical assessments. This is the window of chance for a different life.

T – TRANSFORMATION The ultimate goal is not just sobriety, but total TRANSFORMATION. We aim to help individuals rebuild their lives from the ground up, moving beyond their addiction to become healthy, integrated members of society. This transformation is the lasting result of combined community vigilance, effective enforcement, and compassionate care.

O – OVERCOME The journey through addiction is arduous. We support individuals as they work to OVERCOME the physical and psychological grip of substances. This phase involves intensive, structured support, including professional counseling to address underlying trauma, behavioral therapies, and ongoing medical treatment tailored to their specific needs during rehabilitation.
This project addresses the critical issue of drug abuse through a four-stage holistic approach, moving from immediate community intervention to long-term individual healing.

Madhuram Moment Cams is an innovative experiential initiative dedicated to capturing and celebrating life’s genuine, joyful moments. Through thoughtfully designed photo and video experiences, the project encourages individuals and communities to pause, engage, and express themselves authentically. Whether at events, workshops, or interactive settings, Madhuram Moment Cams blends creative visuals with heartfelt storytelling, making every captured moment memorable. It’s not just about pictures — it’s about creating positive experiences that people cherish and share, strengthening connections and uplifting spirits.

Project Goal: To systematically identify, rescue, and provide a comprehensive pathway to rehabilitation and social reintegration for children living on the streets. The HOME Strategy:
2. O – OUTREACH (Connection & Rescue)
Action: Our dedicated teams conduct sensitive outreach to build trust with the children. Once trust is established, the collected data informs the immediate Rescue operation, ensuring the child is moved from a vulnerable street environment to a safe haven.
3. M – MOBILIZE (Government Resources)
Action: This is the critical linkage stage. We connect the rescued child's data and case file to the appropriate Government Sources for immediate protection and long-term care. This includes linking them with:
Child Welfare Committees (CWC) for official declaration as a "Child in Need of Care and Protection." Child Protection Units (DCPUs) for case management and monitoring. Government-Recognized Shelters or Child Care Institutions (CCIs) for safe accommodation.
Outcome: We ensure the child formally enters the government protection system, securing their legal and physical safety.
1. H – HARNESS (Data & Community Intelligence)
Action: This foundational stage involves on-the-ground, discreet data collection to accurately map the demographic, health status, vulnerabilities, and locations of street children. Outcome: We gather crucial information on each child's specific needs (e.g., potential abuse, medical issues, educational gaps) which is essential for determining the most appropriate government resource for their care. This intelligence is treated with utmost confidentiality and care.
4. E – EMPOWER (Rehabilitation & Education)
Action: The child begins the journey of Rehabilitation. We work with the CCIs to ensure the child receives holistic support, including counseling to address trauma, medical check-ups and treatment, formal or non-formal education (school enrollment), and vocational training. Outcome: The child is empowered to break the cycle of street life, gain skills, and ultimately be ready for family reunification (if safe and possible) or independent living as a productive member of society.
